GVIAS

Want to help produce an event, participate in an art project, create an art project or just generally help out?

The GVIAS regularly produces several events a year and we need tons of volunteers to help out. All GVIAS events require people to help out with decor, programming, tickets, leave no trace, gate, greeters and safety and security.

GVIAS also has several permanent member based committees to help with membership, events, arts grants, community relations, and web development.  These committees report through the GVIAS board and are accountable to the general membership.

For those who are interested in "doing stuff" the best ways to get involved is through an ad hoc event committee or one of the permanent member based committees, such as the Events Committee, Membership Committe, Communications Committee or Grants Committee. 

For those that have the experience, interest  and can make the time commitment and are interested in more strategic planning, budgetary, or risk management focused activities then you may be interested in considering joining our board of directors who are elected at our yearly annual general meeting.
