FOUNDING BOARD
In November 2007, a community meeting was held to determine the conditions under which a new not-for-profit society would be created. At that meeting, the following people were selected to act as the founding board of directors. Their task was to complete the incorporation and produce the first general meeting. They served until the first meeting at which time they all stepped down and a new board was elected from the self nominations. These members did laid the foundation for the society.

FIRST ELECTED BOARD
The board of directors elected at the first AGM on February 29, 2008 were:

- Frank Roberts
- Belva Stone
- Michael Gove
- Erik Paulsson
- Rachel Proulx
- Dylan Cole
With Steven Zur as President, Frank Roberts as Vice President, Belva Stone as Secretary, and Erik Paulsson as Treasurer.
In July 2008, Steven and Frank switched as President and Vice President.
In February 2009, Steven resigned from the board and Rachel replaced him as Vice President. With only one more scheduled board meeting before the AGM, the board opted not to seek a candidate for replacement.
