GVIAS March Newsletter
Congratulations, ReCharge Team!
ReCharge was held on February 16, 2019 with great success! The event sold 487 out of 495 possible tickets and there were 30 booths, with lots of interesting displays to entertain the attendees. Overall, $7288 will be given to artists for their projects this year! Special thanks to Producers Mitch Brown and Mark Fleming for a job well done in their first opportunity as event producers.
Looking for Dustcovery Producers
The Vancouver-area Burner Community has been very fortunate to have amazing producers for Dustcovery and Recharge – and now we’re looking for the next leader to step up to the challenge! Dustcovery is our Regional Burning Man Decompression event, which will be held in the Fall of 2019; this year’s event was a huge success, with 1600 attendees at a great new venue, Harbour Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver. We are looking for a team of Lead and Associate Producers to bring Dustcovery 2019 to life.
The GVIAS board hereby invites prospective applicants to submit their expression of interest to [email protected] – let us know a bit about your vision!
