Position Overview:
GVIAS is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Ticketing Team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ticketing system, providing exceptional customer service to our participants, and contributing to the overall success of our events.
Organizational Goals & Responsibilities
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or concerns related to ticketing, both pre-event and during the event.
- Provide excellent customer service to attendees, answering inquiries, resolving disputes, and assisting with ticket purchases and transfers.
- Demonstrate independent decision-making abilities while also collaborating effectively with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Adapt to various technologies and systems utilized for ticketing purposes, demonstrating a willingness to learn and troubleshoot as needed.
- Uphold a strong sense of fairness in all interactions with attendees and fellow team members.
- Assist in planning and organizing ticketing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain clear and open communication with team members and event organizers, providing updates and sharing relevant information as necessary.

Commitment:
This is a year long role, with the majority of work focused on operations for Burn in the Forest. Candidates who are looking to continue with this position / lead this position in the future are preferred. On average: 4-8 hours per month, additional leading up to major events
