What If Logo Contest!

Want to take a crack at a fresh new logo for What If?

The What If Production Team thought we’d see if anyone out there would like to take a crack at a fresh new logo for What If!

Deadline
All entries must be received by: JUNE 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm
We recognize we’re doing this on a tight timeline this year, so we may do another iteration of the competition next fall.  If so, all of this year’s entries will be automatically re-entered.

Arts Grants
Because we know this means prioritizing us over Other things ðŸ˜‰, we’re offering Arts Grants as follows:
– $300 for the chosen logo submission
– $100 each for the two runners-up

Selection Process
TBA. We are looking into a community voting process but may not have the time to set one up, which is why we are leaving our options open for a broader process next year.  If anyone out there in our ‘do-ocracy’ wants to design and host a ranked ballot vote, please reach out to [email protected].

Design Requirements
We’re hoping for something that we can re-use year after year, so no need to incorporate this year’s theme! You may want to consider how your logo can be thematically adapted each year.  Please feel free to play with Burn in the Forest’s ‘tree creature’ for continuity (included here for reference!), or go in a whole new direction!

Original Work: Submissions must be original and not infringe on any existing copyrights or trademarks, and must be primarily generated by you, the human being.

Scalability: The logo should look good at both small and large sizes — from social media icons to banners.  It should ideally be adaptable to square or landscape.
Simplicity: Aim for a clean, memorable design. Avoid excessive detail.
