What If NEW THEME Announcement
We received the feedback from some in our community that our previously announced theme felt a bit too commercial. Our production team heard these concerns and made the difficult decision to pivot.

We revisited the many theme ideas submitted, and we’re excited to announce the new What if 2026 theme: 

What If: Cat If‽ The Feline Dream Machine

We invite participants to explore all the possibilities of this new theme and what it means to them!

Playful shenanigans and zoomies abound, 
Boots and cats, fun fur and sass,
with imaginations that astound, flowing all around! 

We know that some folks may have jumped on our previous theme and ran with it, so we want to be clear that if you’ve already started creating art based on the previous theme, your whimsy and glam are ALWAYS welcome at What If!
