Town Hall Announcement: Code of Conduct

Hear ye, hear ye!

Many burner communities around North America have recently formalized their codes of conduct and formed conduct committees within the past year. GVIAS will establish its own Code of Conduct, adapted from the BTIF Survival Guide and the codes of other regions (with their approval).

We invite the community to provide feedback at a Town Hall meeting held Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00pm at the Trout Lake Community Centre, in the Grandview Room. The Code of Conduct is currently being finalized by the Conduct Committee in collaboration with the Board of Directors, and will be released for review 3 days prior to the meeting.

GVIAS encourages everyone interested in shaping this important document to attend!

See you there,

The GVIAS Board of Directors

Membership Is Free

But Some Assembly Required

We are guided by the 10 principles of Burning Man. These principles guide our interactions with one another and the environment and have a strong ethos of participation. As such, our events and the society are entirely dependent upon community participation.

Membership isn't required to participate, but members enjoy a number of perks including access to a community of doers and dreamers.
