BitF Needs Associate Producers
Join the Burn in the Forest Production team as an associate producer! Are you looking to contribute even more to our community, to take your radical participation to a whole new level? Associate producers have the opportunity to mentor with experienced producers to grow their skills in leadership, organizing, planning and coordinating. Please submit an expression of interest, including related experience, as soon as possible to: [email protected].
Also Looking for ReCharge Producers
GVIAS’s 6th Annual ReCharge event is coming up in the spring of 2020! Last year, this burner-inspired, crowd-fundraising event raised $7288 for art projects going to burns all over North America.
The Production Team usually consists of one or two producers, and their team leads (i.e. Artist Liaison, Volunteer Coordinator, Decor, Sound, Power, Set-up). The producers are the primary organizers and facilitators, working closely with their team leads. Duties include:
– venue negotiations and booking (with GVIAS board support)
– call-out for and selection of the team leads
– coordination with liquor licensing, fire, police, venue security, and rangers
– managing information and announcements (i..e initial artist and DJ application call outs)
– bar (purchasing and pricing etc)
If interested, please email [email protected] by December 15, 2019 with:
1. Your name and preferred contact info.
2. Why you are interested in being a ReCharge producer.
3. Brief info on your production background (burner-related or otherwise)
